On April 20, 2021, the 150,000-ton/year polypropylene plant of Zibo Haiyi Fine Chemical Co., Ltd. was successfully started up and produced qualified polypropylene products. For the first time, the plant adopts the SPG II technology from Beijing Keyscin petrochemical Engineering Co., Ltd., which has the advantages of low investment, low energy consumption, and low VOC content in the product. The design of the project started in July 2019. During this period, we have overcome many difficulties that brought by the COVID-19. The construction of the plant was completed on November 28, 2020, and the mid-term handover was completed.

Zibo Haiyi Fine Chemical Co., Ltd. is a chemical enterprise focus on the deep processing of liquefied gas. A set of plant with 250,000-ton/year propane dehydrogenation to propylene, and a set of 150,000-ton/year polypropylene plant with utilities and auxiliary facilities has been new established, which leads to transform the company from a traditional energy-based to a high-tech, high-value-added chemical company and move forward to the high-value chain.

Zibo Haiyi Phase II 150,000 tons/year polypropylene project still adopts SPGII technology and has begun to design. After the completion of the second phase polypropylene plant, it can produce homopolymer polypropylene, random polypropylene, and impact polypropylene pellet products. The product can cover variety ranges and further enhance the competitiveness of company, upgrading technology development, and improve the economic and social benefits of company.
